Also their bathroom was superb - top 2 restaurant bathrooms I’ve ever been in - clean, simple, did the job. Outside and inside seating. If you’re cold sit inside - the oven will keep you warm"

"Tiny place, friendly service, good and limited pizza menu, reasonable prices. They offered a complicated salad but they were willing to make us a simple green salad to accompany our pizza. Recommended value restaurant. I will return."

"We arrived in La Rochelle in the evening after a long drive, and just wanted something quick and hot for dinner, something we could take back to our accommodation and chill out, and we are so glad we wandered past le Fratel'! The menu is small, but I don't think there is any option someone wouldnt be able to choose - it's got all your expected options plus a couple more, but no crazy options, which is actually quite nice! We waited around 20 minutes for 3 pizzas to take away, and you can see the big brick oven with the pizzas being made fresh. It was always busy, but the staff were so lovely and friendly, very welcoming and did an amazing job of balancing take away orders with people sitting down in the restaurant. Truly the staff were so friendly! And of course, the pizza was amazing! So fresh and the dough was perfect. I can't recommend it enough if you need a change from bistro food!"
